As I was looking back at previous paintings I’d done I decided that doing another spring family painting like nuzzled would be fun. I love painting with multiple animals because you know what the emotion in all of the faces are directed towards. I have been getting a lot of suggestions for more mountains and landscapes so I decided to incorporate the Bridger Mountain Range into the background. These are my first mountains.

Averi Iris Smith is a Montana native, a self taught teen artist, and athlete living in Bozeman Montana, attending her senior year of high school. As many kids do, Averi loved to paint as a young child, the only difference is she never stopped loving it. When she was 10 she sold her first piece but it wasn't until the summer before freshman year that she found her style. It continues to develop and change with each piece but her signature pop of color mixed with realistic tones has continued to be her trademark.With encouragement of her family and plenty of supplies, Averi fully embraced her passion and has been selling her paintings ever since.
