The fawn is a sure sign of Spring in Montana.
Averi's grandparents have a cabin on Flathead Lake and she often sees a doe with her fawn(s) wandering the woods. There's nothing more precious than the wobbly legs of a newborn fawn. Unsteady and most darling.

Averi completed this February 2021, her first painting after turning 16.

Averi Iris Smith is a Montana native, a self taught teen artist, and athlete living in Bozeman Montana, attending her senior year of high school. As many kids do, Averi loved to paint as a young child, the only difference is she never stopped loving it. When she was 10 she sold her first piece but it wasn't until the summer before freshman year that she found her style. It continues to develop and change with each piece but her signature pop of color mixed with realistic tones has continued to be her trademark.With encouragement of her family and plenty of supplies, Averi fully embraced her passion and has been selling her paintings ever since.
