Artist's Description
I have never had so much fun trying out a new technique than I did with this painting. Sometimes there are days where an image pops in my head and I know I want to paint it, my “spontaneous paintings.” Oils are difficult because it’s really easy to over-blend but, it leaves you with much more freedom when creating the background. This guy is 24 x 24” oil on canvas. Original will be available for purchase in 2021. Prints available now.

Averi Iris Smith is a Montana native, a self taught teen artist, and athlete living in Bozeman Montana, attending her senior year of high school. As many kids do, Averi loved to paint as a young child, the only difference is she never stopped loving it. When she was 10 she sold her first piece but it wasn't until the summer before freshman year that she found her style.
